Abhijeet Links Karan Johar To Fawad Khan, Calls Him Mrs Karan Johar Khan!
Abhijeet Bhattacharya is not new to controversies, and over the past few days has received a lot of backlash for his series of tweets on the recent Pakistani artistes-MNS controversy. After tweeting against Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt for casting Pakistani artistes in their films and accusing Salman Khan of supporting terrorism, the singer crossed the line yet again and took a dig at Karan Johar, his depression, sexuality and Fawad Khan all in one tweet.

(Abhijeet Lashes Out Against KJo & Mahesh Bhatt For Giving Work To Pak Artistes, Sep 21)
and accusing Salman Khan of supporting terrorism
(Singer Abhijeet Accuses Salman Khan Of Supporting Terrorism, Oct 1),
the singer crossed the line yet again and took a dig at Karan Johar, his
depression, sexuality and Fawad Khan all in one tweet. Little after midnight,
Abhijeet tweeted, “Another #lovejihad .. Mehbooba #KaranJohar is in depression
..pak lover fawad ditched bechari Mrs @karanjohar
khan (sic).”
This tweet was in response to the news that Fawad Khan
wouldn’t be the first guest on Karan’s chat show Koffee With Karan. While we
think that Abhijeet’s comment on the filmmaker was uncalled for, let’s see how
Karan reacts to this tweet.
The MNS- Pakistani artistes controversy began several days
ago. In the wake of Uri attacks which killed 18 Indian soldiers, MNS asked
Pakistani artistes to leave the country and also said that all films which
feature Paki actors will not be allowed to release. Following the diktat
Pakistani artistes have bore the brunt of the tension whereby Atif Aslam’s
concert was cancelled in Gurgaon
(Atif Aslam’s concert gets cancelled in Gurgaon, Sep 29)
and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was thrown out of a film
(MNS Effect: Pakistani Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Thrown Out Of A Film, Sep 28).
Also, The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has now decided
not to work with Pakistani artistes until peace returns between the two countries
(IMPPA Bans Pakistani Artistes, Sep 29).
